Blues Sheet Project Application Forms

Call 965-0216 or E-mail dormido@earthlink.com to be mailed a Blues Sheet Project application. If you have any questions about the project, contact Patty Shoemaker, 543-1492.

The Big Three John Paul Drum, Washboard Chaz and Bill Dye are appearing at the 75th St. Brewery under the name of "The Big Three." Apparently the name refers to other than girth or physical stature. Major opportunity to catch these guys before they become even more famous.

Dick wants you to know . . .

Blayney's is featuring Big John and the 39th St. Blues Band every Wednesday night. Psycho Joe and the Hipnotics show up Aug. 14-15. The LA Persuader Band from Los Angeles is due Aug. 18. On Aug. 13, another blues band contest with a $500 cash prize will be held. Strangely enough, this is the same night as the Kansas City Blues Society Monthly General Membership Meeting and Jam, but we trust that you will make the right decision that night! Also look for Fast Johnny, Camp Harlow, the Nace Brothers and Lonnie Ray to appear together in a Big Blues Blowout during the month of August.

Lindsay sez, Watch Out!

. . . For Don Shipps and the Titanic on Aug. 15, Jimmy Lewin and the King Tones from western Kansas on Aug. 8, at B.B.'s where the blues meets the brew and barbecue, but I'm still wondering where the lawn is.
